Q: Are my online credit card transactions secure?

Q: What is Murano glass?
A: Venetian Murrina (Murano Glass) originates from ancient Roman, Alexandrian, and Phoenician glassware. It owes its particular beauty to a very complicated and skillful process that was rediscovered by the glassmakers of Murano in the Middle Ages. Each piece of Murano glassware and each Murano glass bead is a one-of-a-kind work of art, entirely handmade in the most famous city in the world for glass making – Murano, Italy – an island off Venice.

Murano Venetian beads offer the finest craftsmanship of 24K gold and glass available in the world. In each bead 24K gold foil is layered around a clear crystal glass core and then covered with additional clear or tinted Murano glass. In other instances, 24K gold foil and 24K gold dust are infused into a swirl of clear or colorful Murano glass to form a bead.  Metal oxides generate the colors of the glass, providing the gorgeous rich colors not found anywhere else. Each bead is made individually. Using a torch for heat, a Murano glass cane is heated to a molten state and wrapped around a metal rod until the desired bead shape is formed. Only beads made from authentic Murano Glass have the sparkle and shine and color that make Murano glass beads so very extraordinary.

Q: What are your shipping costs?
A: Marcell Treah Gifts uses the United States Postal Service (USPS) for all its domestic and international shipping.  You can view an estimate of shipping costs by viewing your cart. However, final shipping costs will be displayed on the invoice you see before confirming your order. Specific shipping services include:

DOMESTIC:
-USPS 1st Class Shipping - Estimated delivery within 3 - 6 days after seller ships item
-USPS Priority Shipping - Estimated delivery within 2 - 4 days after seller ships item
-USPS Express Shipping - Ships within 1 day of receiving a cleared payment

INTERNATIONAL:
-USPS International Priority Shipping - Estimated delivery within 7 - 17 days* after seller ships item. *Delivery to certain countries can take longer.


Q: Do you show or sell your products beyond your website?
A: Yes, we sell our jewelry at a number of shows in the Midwest. A list of those shows will appear here soon and be updated on a regular basis  throughout the year.
